I didn't remember EMs having a straight axle option (he said 9 inch Ford). Maybe I'm wrong(?). Inside hood return flange isn't deep enough to be a B&B. Straight axle eliminates a number of makes. Interior picture and certainly a frame shot would help.

In the books I have for the EM factory, you could get Vette, Jag or 9 inch rear ends.

I think I'm going to look at it tomorrow. It seems like you guys have enjoyed trying to figure out what this one is so I'll be sure to post some pics here maybe tomorrow night depending on when I get back. I'm going to try and get as many frame pics as possible but definately some better exterior shots as well as an interior and engine pic. I noticed in the scans that he sent me that the inspection sticker expired in '07 so who knows what I'm going to see?

Hey Jon, as you noted we love the breed identification game. There are so many varieties but there are just as many represented, experts and builders on here.

You know, that's EXACTLY why I posted this at ClubCobra. I knew you guys would know more about this car and you didn't let me down. I still can't get over how many responses in the amount of time!! Many thanks!

The last of them. The car was in pretty good shape, real good considering it was built in '93. I have more info but I'm tethering right now so I'll get back to you guys soon.

It appears to be a kit build using mustang doner parts, is that correct? Maybe that will help narrrow down the possibilities. Also, with the alternator on the drivers side, it appears to be a 351W version of the small block. All the 302 versions I've seen have the alternator on the passenger side of the motor. Cobra looks good though. Best of luck if you purchase this vehicle.

It is not an ERA, Unique, Everett-Morrison, Stallion or West Coast Cobra. The engine does not appear to be set back far enough to be a Butler or a NAF. There is no deep lip on the cowl behind the seats so it might not be a CMC. The lip could have been removed for a more authentic appearance and it does have the lip around the hood and trunk openings.
Rectangular tube frame, Mustang ll suspension and live axle. The body looks pretty nice and reasonably accurate. Room for a full size spare in the trunk. If it's one of the mainstream brands, as opposed to a limited-run product from an obscure or short lived manufacturer, someone will recognise it.

This hotrod looks to me like a B&B. A friend has one and the trunk hinges and the way they are mounted look familiar. Plus all the heavy metal and welds underneath look familiar also like a B&B.

Now after looking at all the pics. The lower control arms and sway bar attachment have B&B characteristics. I'm going with B&B and thats my final answer. Good luck!
