Geary, have you put the twin Paxtons on that supersnake yet?
Ric and Don - nice rides! Don, what's the actual name of that dark green metallic? It looks great - seems a bit darker than BRG.

Buzz, I am almost ashamed to say that the green color is a 1995 Corvette color. I am not sure of the name but it is the darker of the two greens listed that year.

Just One

I do not know for a fact if the car is in Houston but was told it was by Alan Weaver this past November. He said that the current owner was looking for some info on the motor which I will be glad to provide if he will contact me.

Don't worry Don! It's only paint - and it is beautiful - besides; my own transgressions against the originality gods are far worse.

Buzz, The Ford v Chevy rivalry here is so strong that if it ever came out that my Cobra was painted a Corvette color, I would never live it down. I loved the color the first time I saw it and decided that that was going to be the color on my Cobra no matter what. When people would ask about the paint, I would tell them it was a Honda color. Better to hava a Honda color than a Corvette color.

Buzz - 9 Thousand miles ago. Compare it to the original - CSX3015. The blowers were put into service May 2008. While not a 100 point match it is fairly close and carries the spirit of the original. I've added photos to my previous entry.

Question: How are some you posting larger images. The images I posted are much larger but reduced in size during uploading?

Buzz - You can never forget that you're in an extremely dangerous car. The blowers are spun up to 7,000 rpm at idle so there is a large well of pressurized air above the throttle plates ready to tip the moment they crack open. Having said that I love it but you can not squirrel around like you used to. No sharp movements on the throttle as she'll break traction in an instant. You gotta just treat her with the respect she deserves.

Default Unique 36 Cabriolet

We build a pretty nice 36 Ford cabriolet also. The red car has a 427 side oiler and the black car was judged in the Riddler class in Detroit this past feb.

Alan,

We are so proud of you and your Company. A great American family-owned business that has withstood a good many trends for well over 30 years and still produce some of the best replicas in the USA. The American entrepreneurial spirit is still very much alive in Gadsden, Alabama.

Still going strong, Unique Motorcars, Made in the USA, hurray.

Alan is being modest when he says they build a "pretty nice" 36. It's darn nice for sure!
