Default 289 Header pictures needed

Looking for pictures of headers on a 289 car for using sidepipes. Also, if you have pictures of headers for use in undercar exhaust I'd be interested in seeing that too. Thanks.

There are a couple pictures in my old gallery of the ERA Pipes. What specifically are you looking for?

Rick,
Is it worth "that much" to get equal length headers?

Take a look at my "for sale" add, these are nearly identical to the original SAI race headers for the competition 289 Cobras. The main difference being 1 5/8" primary tubes and stainless steel construction.

Those look nice. What we are trying to see are headers like that or anything else on a 289 car with fiberglass boxes. Trying to determine what might be out there that can be used as a basis for modifying to fit my car. My car is going to have sidepipes but we'd also like to see headers for use in an undercar exhaust. Pictures of them on the car help.

One option for me it to take unequal length shorty headers for a mustang and possibly swap them side for side so the outlets are pointing forward a bit. Perhaps cutoff the ball socket collector and go from there to get to a proper merge collector for going to the single tube sidepipe.

Here are some headers that fit under car exhaust.

Thanks guys. I went to see / meet Richard Messersmith this weeked (lives in Orlando) and saw his awesome 289 Kirkham FIA car. What a cool guy and cool car. Bruce and I have what we need as far as the header / sidepipe routing.
