I'm amazed that everyone is buying into this "Blitz is a Moron" thing. You don't make money as a VC or as a high stakes poker player by being stupid or gullible.
I suspect we are dealing with a much smarter, shrewder individual than he is pretending to be. If nothing else, I find it inconceivable that someone like Tommy would be close friends with an idiot. Quite the opposite, Tommy being friends with him just about guarantees he's highly competent and probably top 1%.
I am really looking forward to seeing the conclusion of this.

Do a Google search for "Bilzerian" and you might come to a different conclusion. Either Dan or his daddy Paul -- looks like the apple don't fall far from the tree.

rjbh20,
I didn't say he was a nice guy, or that he plays by the rules. I've never met him, so I wouldn't know.
I'm just saying the whole way he is presenting himself feels wrong. I don't buy it.
In any case, it certainly is first class entertainment.

Both of these guys responded to forum member requests and posted their identities. They did so in good faith because some folks simply didn't believe they actually existed.
By all means respond frankly and openly to the posts - tell it like you see it - but for cryin' out loud, leave the amateur internet detective work and associated judgementalism for your neighborhood group meetings and keep the focus on the race. What the hell does a person's family have to do with any of this?

WOW! You guys bought this "high stakes race" hook, line, and sinker Step back, look at the big picture, none of it adds up. Cobra owner who is a "rookie with slicks" bwahahaha! Ferrari owner comes to the clubcobra asking for opinions Inconsistencies all over the place, there will never be a race nor was there one ever planned. Just two guys jerking your chain and getting one big hoot out of it!
Hey jokers, being the buds that you are, post a pic of your cars side by side with you two next to 'em, yeah should be no problem!

Ok all, it's been fun, but I'm out. I said that I was done with being accused of being a liar. I think the others on the forum recognized that the race was real. Both Dan and I are pretty public figures and we explained when the race was going to be and what the terms are. I've not neither the need nor the interest to be subjected to claims like that. You'll hear about the race third-hand I'm sure. I'm sorry that I won't be posting the video and reports. But you can thank Machiavelli, who's obviously a genius, for that. Bye, Tom

That's right Tommy, you run along now, 'bout past your bedtime anyway lol.
Figured that "post a pic of your cars side by side with you two next to 'em" would be a show stopper!

Machiavelli - you are as stupid as much as you are a jerk. As the people who have read the thread will gladly explain, my car is in Washington, DC and Dan's car is in Las Vegas, NV. My car gets picked up by Interstate Auto Transport next week. That makes it really, really hard to take a picture side by side.I gladly would have taken a picture with the longstanding Club Cobra member who is coming to my time trials at the drag strip at the Maryland Speedway Monday and who was supplying the camera for the 458. But I just don't have any interest in doing that on a site populated by such an ass, even when everyone else on the site recognizes that's what you are.

For Dan Bilzerian...............
its unfortunate that Tommy dropped out, thus not sure if you are still in and needing advise from the forum members, Machivelli's comments nothwithstanding?
For those of us who are following this thread being the majority of folks that represent the 409 posts and 18,609 visits it would be a shame to let this go and drop communicating due to a few individuals comments.
Up to now, this has been one most entertaining thread and a hellova blast. IMHO folks......

It's been a fun read for sure, but I must confess, I would have thought a big time lawyer would have a little thicker skin - who knew?!!

Thicker skin? Pretty darn thick already if you ask me!! I'm surprised Tommy didn't blow this off within the first three pages, let alone hang in there for so long.
Thanks for your time with us here counselor, I and many other's really appreciate what you have done and are doing.

Hi Tommy,
I say you keep going... in spite of the doubters, and make them eat their words.
By leaving, I guess you feed their egos and give them credibility they may not deserve... they'll prance around proclaiming "I told you so - the lawyers a fraud".
I for one don't want to see that, or see you go.
Best of luck either way... stay safe!

Probably true, easier to talk to yourself when engaged in a fantasy. Listen to this "big time lawyer" whine ...
Machiavelli - you are as stupid as much as you are a jerk.

Wow, now he speaks for the thread! What does this "big time lawyer" do when someone challenges one of those pipe dreams that make into the court room
Tommy, you want some cheese with that WHINE lol

For Tommy Goldstein...............
Tom, in my humble opinion, Machiavelli is a majority of one. That said, there were several people during the early stages of this thread expressed their opinions regarding the veracity of this race and the players involved, however after confirmation from Keith, being a known third party and a highly respected member of this site, scepticism was generally abated and this became a live and entertaining thread given the posts and visit count and one that a lot of CC folks have apparent interest in seeing it reach fruition. So while you have stated we will not get to see the results nor see the visuals of the race can you at least give all of us who want to see this happen the opportunity of knowing the exact date and times when this will go down.
Reason for the request is that 25th of Feb was discussed by you and Dan indicated March 2 so hope this point can be ratified and published for those folks who intend to see the event in person, me being one plus whoever else is so inclined.
Thanks, John, AKA, tin-man, Zhuhai, P.R.C.

Hope you didn't buy a plane ticket! Now that you "know" Tommy, does some of his 1st comments still add up to the interesting transgression of personality that has transpired now that he has you reeled in?
A buddy has a beloved Kirkham side-oiler Cobra, on slicks.
He is an inexperienced driver of the Cobra at speed.
