Are you buying from a private seller? Backdraft has their headquarters in Boynton Beach .. about 30 miles from Boca. You could ask the owner to have it checked by Reg at Backdraft for an opinion.

it's a private seller and that is where he purchased the car two years ago, do you think he would be nonbiased? I was thinking more of a local cobra guy I can pay to give a detailed inspection

When I was looking for a Backdraft I found one that was local to Reg. I contacted their shop and they gave me an honest appraisal of the car and what it needed. They were famialiar with the car beacuse they built it and maintained it for the owner.

I believe I spoke to Reg's father?

I felt very comfortable with their analysis of the car, unfortunately the owner backed out of the deal at the last minute.
