Plenty, go to the Australian forum. I'm sure you will get any amount of info about cobra's with dark side engines

Why stop at an LS2, there are some with LS3s, LS7s & LSx blocks...?

LS7 for mine is certainly a sweet engine for a cobra...

My Cobra currently has a Chevy engine albeit an older version. I have a LSx sitting here ready to install. I was contemplating doing that or installing a Ford engine.

Considering how much the value has dropped in the last few years, I will probably just use the LSx engine. I would never even break even putting a Ford engine into it. My only problem is weight. The engine sits so far back I am worried it will change the weight bias by a huge amount.

Yep plenty. I say do it. Nothing wrong with being different. Plus it still makes for a very fun car...

I understand the whole Ford engine in a Cobra replica... but actually, it's a lesson in irony. It's a plastic copy of the Cobra. I like the idea of have nothing Ford about it. The tag should read... FAKE SNAKE or something there abouts...

Tails,

I'm thinking about going the LSX route too, what did you do for headers?

Old SBC truck block done up to 375/360 mated to a warmed over TH 350...price was right. Over here, Ford motor/ SBC makes no difference...only two Cobra replicas in the country. Both SBC
