Man....I appreciate all the pics. Definitely going to have my pipes coated black. Roll bar and quick jacks look great either way. I like the black quick jacks and pipes with the roll bar either way black or chrome. Decisions, decisions. Now, I've got new 402 style headers that are ceramic coated in silver. Would it be odd to have black side pipes with silver headers? You really have to look where the two come together and the silver definitely looks good under the hood.

I love the black on black look but black on any color looks great. Less of a hot rod look.

How well does the black finish hold up....in other words is black prone to fading?

I gave up on VHT black paint and eventual fading on both of my Cobras, prior and present, and ended up having them coated professionally.

Rustoleum BBQ paint rocks! I paint and let dry for 24 hrs. then take some 0000 steel wool to buff them to a shine. They look powder coated when buffed out.
