Mild Stripes - same color family as base color?
During paint selection, a few friends are doing some stripe brainstorming and possible experimentation. I'm wondering if anyone here has a photo of stripes where the stripe color is in the same color family as the base color of the car - keeping the stripe a little more subdued, with less contrast?
I'm not referring to ghost stripes, but stripes where lets say the car is medium blue base, and the stripe is just shade darker blue or a shade lighter blue, or the car is say Gray, and the shade of stripe is just a tad darker Gray or lighter Gray than the base. The idea is to have the stripe show up, but not as obvious as it would with say Blue/White or Red/White. I've seen a few cars do this with a Silver gray car and silver stripe but we are looking for something even more subdued. Thanks in advance for your replies.
Anyone here seen or done this before? Got any pics?
