Looks like we'll have enough to do the shirts. I have a couple requests about long sleeve and pocket shirts. We can do both but they are a little more expensive. I'll figure up a quote and post it here later. If you want a pocket shirt then the front logo doesn't look right if we do what I have in mind. I'm thinking about a simple line drawing of a car with the word "cobra" above or below it. Any thoughts?

While we're designing and thinking,,,,,,does anybody have any clip art of a cobra for the front? I'll be looking around the net for one and really don't want to have to buy it.

Good thought. That might be a little better as a complete front or back? Plus, it seems that somebody has already done that and there would be an ownership issue? We could duplicate it "after exhausting all reasonable resources to locate the design owner".

At this point, we're open to anything. I'm trying to keep costs down by sticking with a single color print front and back. That design would be 3 colors and would increase the setup, art and screen charges quite a bit.

40 minutes to Nascar. I'll be "off the air" until the Bristol races is over!!

Perhaps you could display a few different choices and set the thread up so members can vote for a favorite. I’d think this would stream line the process as well as maximize your order size thus reducing the price point. Again, just a thought…

,,,,,,,,,,,OK,,,,,,,,,,,,,, The choices to post up designs would mean that somebody would have to do the art work. Work =$$ As it is now we are working with a couple of verbal ideas for the front.

1. a basic blueprint line art of a car with the word "cobra" above or below.

2. simple snake with or without "cobra"

3.multi color print of either the CC club print or the cartoon cobra. (copyright issues?)

If we get into multiple colors, the price goes up, considerably. We also run into issues of various color shirts with various color inks not being seen or compatible. Tough to put a red car on a red shirt. These are not computer generated heat press shirts. They are individually screenprinted shirts.

As far as the price point, I'm cutting this to the bone at $20.00 plus shipping. The price would drop by .65 for any individual order over 12, and .65 per dozen in any multiples of 12. Any real saving would be in shipping.

To make it simple, stick with black only and white letters. maybe if you just do the cartoon car in white outline, would not be a copy right issue.

Aj.

It's no biggie to offer different color shirts as the print will either be black or white depending on what looks best. Also NBD if they are long or short sleeve with or without pocket. They will all get ordered at the same time. The problem seems to be with the front. The cartoon car ,I don't think would be too good as a silhouette but a basic quartering shot outline might be better. The snake in my opinion would be better yet.

I like the snake in the front and the writing in back. I like the size of the writing on the black shirt i posted. Red shirt with black or white writing and snake. Black shirt with white writing and snake.
Can you do lady's fitted shirts as well. If so i would need another one. so 5 for me.
Let's do it.
NO POCKETS PLEASE.

Here is the size and cost breakdown for the shirts. Tax is included. Shipping will be USPS priority. Depending on size and quantities shipping is ABOUT $5 for a small box (1-2 shirts) ABOUT $10 for a medium box (3-5 shirts) and $15.00 for the large box (probably up to 6 5X shirts)

What I need for everyone to do is send me an email to redmt@netvelocite.net. For those that don't have the color charts yet, I'll send them to you. For the others, I need the quantities and sizes with the brand and style, and color of shirt (s) that you want. I will then send you the total for your order. I need your complete name, address and phone # for shipping and for when it comes time to send a Pay Pal request for $$. You do not need a Pay Pal account.

The front logo will be the Shelby Cobra with the snake and 2 circles around it. I will change the word SHELBY to COBRA. I have attached the Shelby logo. I'll still have to check into copyright issues. So if anyone has another logo or idea, lets hear it.

I won't put in the final order until next week. It will give folks a chance to figure out what they want. I'm looking to ship in early to mid April (2-3 weeks) I will bill at time of shipping.

Dunno about the emblem... That's the Mustang Cobra's snake, not the 427.

The 427 Cobra emblem is:

OK. I looked at that as the first option. Problem is that it is 3 colors. The black of the outline is no sweat but the red, and blue would become the background color of the shirt. Doing a 3 color logo would up the price by $130 just for the color separations and screens. Even dividing it out by 2 dozen shirts it ups the base cost by over $5.00 It would also up the basic shirt cost by $1.50 each for printing. I don't think its worth it.

First thought is to drop the front logo altogether which would decrease the base cost of the shirt by a buck. I didn't really like the snake.

Second thought is to put some simple lettering such as "Club Cobra" and maybe the WWW below it.

No problem. Send me all your sizes and info in an email and I'll confirm the $$ tomorrow. They should be about a buck cheaper. Hanes are x small to x large.
Guildan are x small to large. colors are the same
