Default Ct front plate news and question

Ct is looking to increase the fine from $117 to $234 for driving without a front plate. Does anyone have a decent way to mount a front plate?

I mount it on the trunk floor. Cops got better things to worry about than front plates.

Yes, but if they stop you for some other reason, they will add the plate violation.

On a side note, CT is trying to collect taxes from me for last year on my FFR coupe that I sold in 2008. I now live in PA, but of the 11 states I've lived in, CT is the most screwed up when it comes to record keeping and vehicle laws.

Absence of the front plate is probable cause for an initial traffic stop, then anything else.

This looks interesting; http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/prod...oducts_id=3922, I've thought about it for both my Mustang and Cobra.

Default ERA Front Plate

I just put a short length of aluminum angle up under the front of the oil cooler opening by lengthening the screws that hold the bottom air intake piece. The angle hangs down just enough to screw a plate to. It covers some of the oil cooler opening but that was not a problem for me (I took the plate off for track days).
