Default Could use a little help dialing in the bellhousing

So i have everything set up and i just took my measurements.

Measurements were taken rotating counterclockwise if facing the bellhousing.

I set the dial indicator to 0 at the 12 o clock mark, then rotated-90 degrees counterclockwise 3 times

Readings

90 degrees= -.008
180 degrees= -.018
270 degrees= -.009

Obviously i need to go up a good bit, but what about left to right? Since they are both negative and almost the same, what do i do? Excuse me for being a bit slow concerning this matter. I find it very confusing.

Your good laterally - right on. If I understand your measurements correctly you do need to move the bellhousing up as close to .008 inches as possible.

Chris,

I'm sorry I haven't been able to get back to you, it's been one of those days...

Is everything torqued down? I'd try it once again, I think maybe your dial indicator is either overtraveling or you hit a bump on the register bore.
