LEO: Do you know how fast you were going?
Me: Uh, no, I don't.
LEO: 91 mph.
Me: Wow, that's pretty good for a small block!
LEO: (Between chuckles) OK, have a good day but slow it down!

I got pulled over in my 66 Mustang Fastback once. He said son I clocked you doing 82 in a 55. I said " well sir I'm not trying to be disrespectful BUT it is mathematically impossible!" You see I have a 3.50:1 rear end ratio with a 2.78.1 first gear also with 26" tall tires and the rpm chip in the MSD is set at 6000 RPM. I'm sorry officer but it's not possible given I hadn't even made it to third gear! Mathematically it's impossible. He said well I just saw a red car accelerating at a high rate and you just need to slow it down. Yes Sir!

Default Got the one for NJ

Back in 92 I was a tech for Caddie and went for a road test on the parkway. customer said he wanted to be able to drive from NJ to Florida in 17 hours
He said the car topped out at 138 mph. He showed me, at 138 the car stop accellerating. We went through a speedtrap Jim said nothing as the state tooper came out of the woods. Took 2.5 miles to catch up to behind us. We got pulled over. Jim said "What took you so long to catch up?" Jim pulled out a couple of official PBA and state cards. The Trooper went Ballistic about the speeding. No Ticket. We got off at the next exit and went back on the south side doing the same thing. Waved as we passed the same trooper. He didn't come out. Jim said he can make Fla in 16 hours if wanted. Crazy Guy. Rick L.
