Default Pleasant surprise while building OEM Cammer

Got my cammer block and internals back from the machine shop yesterday. Started to assemble the cammer motor and realized I have some special parts for this motor. I have one of the original protype/experimental front cam covers in my collection. It has a XE prefix casting/engineering number on the cover which referenced to 1 of the orig prototype covers. I placed it next to the other orig covers and noticed the diff casting/engineering prefix and the casting is slightly rougher and slightly different in some areas. I then went thru the different sets of cams I have and noticed a set that was etched with EONIX INC on the side while the others were either Crane Cams or OEM cams. I researched EONIX INC and found that they were a small company in Detroit that did experimental and protype cams for special applications. I then measured and degreed that cam and found it had almost the same identical specs and the OEM racing application cams. It appears this is a set of the orig prototype cams for the cammer motor. They were still wrapped up and sent by a person named Cecil Johnson. This cammer may be more unique and original then I had originally thought. If anyone has any info on the orig development of this motor I would appreciate it. I also found a gear drive system for the FE timing chain system I may use also. Any help or advise would be appreciated.
