Default CCX advice...

This site has been tremendously helpful! We are working on a CCX and I found so much valuable info to acomplish the multiple tasks required.
I was hoping to determine if there was a typical rack and conversion to correct the steering geometry(MII)?
Would also like to get a heads up on obstacles to plan for upgrading from a Muncie four speed to a Tremec 6 speed- behind a BBC.
Thanks again guys and keep up the good work!

The steering geometry is pretty good on the CCX with E type front. What do you have in it now? Did you find the Contemporary forum yet? Contemporary Classic Forums - Club Cobra
Tranny swap should be good, make sure your u-joint angles from above/below aren't too severe.

Thank you Mickmate! I am new to this site and haven't discovered all avenues. I was under the impression all is well with the suspension and steering at face value. I had noted someones post regarding the modified tie rod ends. This car is of like kind. The length change to the steering has caused an absolutely HIDEOUS bump steer condition. Thought I would inquire before I try to reinvent the wheel.

If you can snap a couple of pics of your suspension and steering we'll see if we can offer any advice. Shoot me an e-mail address and I'll send you the CCX manual.
