Engine ID help.. ??

Anyone have any idea what Ford engine this could be? I shot pics of it at the Sonoma Historics last weekend, and a friend was wondering what Ford engine had the distributor in the rear. I've searched online, but haven't really come up with a solid answer. The engine is in a 1967 Lola T70 M3B, raced by Parnelli Jones and Mario Andretti. Could it be a Ford DOHC Indy racing engine?
