Default BUT WAIT! Another EBAY listing, this ones GOOD!

Alright I know your tired of the ebay listings but this one really cracks me up! It's probably a really nice car but seriously!! I'm sure every ERA FIA owner out there will love this one! Enjoy! Other Makes | eBay

It makes me want to wait and get "top dollar" for mine too! I'll sell mine for that price PLUS some nice mountain acreage in the North Ga. Mountains!!

Just from my cursory look, the car seems really very nice.

You have to like this statement "Many will tout Superformance, and Kirkham, but none compete with ERA. It's the Rolls Royce of Cobra Recreations."

As a CSX owner, left out in the cold, I would be insulted.

EXACTLY!!

Don't get me wrong, I love my ERA. BUT, there is a tremendous difference between a CSX and Kirkham built car. This isn't the first time this car has been on ebay for sale. It just amazes me how much time, energy, and resources some go to to keep fishing out there. The car is very nice but it would be a STRETCH to even get 1/2 of this asking price!! But that's just my opinion. Regards, Matt

He's been trying to sell this for a while, hasn't he? It's a very nice car, but that's a lotta dough for what it is &/or what market value is yielding. I'm guessing he's trying to recoupe all of the cleaning, fuel & insurance costs from those 1200 miles also...

That would mean I can get $200K for my CSX, right?

I think I really could in this economy.... as long as there was $120K of cash in the trunk!

Seems like a reasonable price to me. In view of the impending debt default in Greece, I think some well-heeled Grecian will put his money right thar. I wouldn't lower the asking price one penny.

The seller appears to be James Cousens Cedar Crossing Collection which, judging from a quick Google search, seems to specialize in early electric cars.

Maybe the Cobra doesn't have enough torque off the line for his tastes...

Wow! is all I can say.Kind of hope it sells for or near that amount, setting a new benchmark for quality built kit cars.Without a racing or celebrity pedigree doubt it will draw that kind of money.

This one has been for sale for a long time. I wonder if the seller realistically expects to get close to the amount he is asking or just using ebay for his advertising tool.

$125K? You decide.

As nice as it looks, you would think he would have sold it, if he would accept a reasonable offer. I think someone said ERA is lined up with FIA orders. If I had the choice between this car & waiting, & the price were similar (assuming that this car runs as good as it looks), I'd go for it. I'm guessing he's serious about his price, as crazy as it seems.

when we moved last year, the guy who bought our house made an offer that included my car. It was actually a very good offer, and I would have gone for it, BUT the bank wasn't interested in financing the home for $40K more than the house appraised.

He always wanted a "cobra" and thought if he could roll the cost into a 30 year mortgage it would make it "affordable"
