Default Pictures from Hallett Aug 6 and 7 2011

A couple pictures of the Coupe on the track this weekend. First mile was at Hallett...trial by fire you might say.

This sounds like so much fun. It is my fervent hope that our car is done and we can participate next year. And that it is cooler.

I agree with Sam in that it seemed like a quick turn around, however, I wasn't a big fan of first 5 either, just my opinion. Loved the casualness (if that's a word) of the event and would welcome more cars and a cheaper rate

Sammy, I must try and stay with you next time to learn the lines better. You are smooth as butter out there!

Clois, please include me on the email list when you plan another event in the spring, I am in! I should have the brakes dialed in and maybe even some more power, then maybe I can run with some of you lead foots! Fun fun time!

Oh yeah, don't want to interfere with Clydes deal, he takes great shots from the bucket truck and is the official track photographer. That's why I waited until now... figured everyone had purchased or ordered the CD, which is always great and usually loaded with bonus stuff.
Enjoyed having you guys, perhaps next time, bigger, slower more time to chat. We used to even toss a few after the events in the air conditioned garage, called the Paddock Palace with some of the groups who brought beer. ;-)

Thank you Tim, I hope you can join us next April for The Next Thing (TNT) or it could stand for Test n Tune. Hoping to get a few more cars on the track and a few more people in the pits.

Clois

Yep Gary, that was me. The car ran pretty good over the weekend. I have a good baseline to start tuning the suspension.

Yes that helped the popping. I am still a little rich on the low end but I think it might be a float level issue. It's pretty close now. It's hard to really test things without a track day event in my future.

Default Sunday In-car Video

I'm really bad at video production, but I love the little Clyde clip that this starts with ...

This has been cut way down to get under 15 min. Also, you will see me having a lot of trouble with the 2-3 upshift coming uphill out of turn 3 at WOT. I always have that problem at that spot at Hallett. Maybe I need to shift at 5K instead of 6K, I don't know. It quit doing it on subsequent sessions

Anyway, me and WildBill3 had a blast racin' Bill you're getting a DVD of the whole session ...
