License Plate
After many years of dreaming about a Cobra I finally decided that at almost 69 years old I had better get on with it while I still can.
Bought a finished car about 2 weeks ago, and so far its all I expected and more.
My question is, what are most of you using for a license plate holder for the rear?
Most pictures that I see have one below the trunk light, but I sure don't want to drill any holes if I don't have to.
Suggestions, or secrets will sure be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike P.

Mike, like everything else on these cars, there's a trick. The bracket that holds the plate mounts behind the trunk light itself. You can pick it up from Finish Line and install it in about 15 minutes. Finish Line Accessories

Same here, I use the bracket from Finish Line, and I use the CSX frame over the plate, just had to use a file to tweak it.

I have the same basic thing, but I spaced mine out approximately 1/8 of an inch with rubber washers so it did not hit and rub the body.

The bracket from finish line did not fit my car so I fashioned one to bolt to my speed jack.

Here is a Carroll Shelby one from Tony Branda that fits between the light and trunk handle of a Superformance. Smaller than the Finish line frame and also cheaper. May also work on your car.

After seeing some of the abortions of license plates on Cobra's,used my plate as a template and downsized it to 3/4 size.Had a piece of flat fiberglass cut it down took it to a signshop they took a photocopy made the exact replicar (with same reflectiveness) of the original plate applied it to the blank. It looks great, was told by several LEO's as long as original plates are with the car it was Okay.
