Lucas PL700 7" Round Headlamp

Anyone have experience with these headlamps? They look nice in the pictures (but don't they always).

Not sure that they have sidelight bulbs- but maybe you don't need them in the states?
I've got the same but with sidelights (law in Europe), they seem adequate at night, on the rare occasion I venture out after dark!

I have a set but not purchased from the above mentioned location.

I can say that they work alot better than the cheaper imitation that are out there.

I can tell you that I have the cheap fleabay version and, let's just say, I got what I paid for.
Very poor optics and light dispersion.

That is why I want to locate someone who has these lamps. They look great but I don't want your experience MFE III.

I just purchased and set off of eBay last week approximately $150 a pair delivered.
Supposedly the high quality version.

Just sent them back today, one was a lot clearer than the other,when lit you can see a slight film on the inside of the glass on both. They weren't horrible but they're not worth the money.
