Either way I have requested my paperwork back since it does no good just to let it sit there since I will need to do these repairs no matter what. In the mean time, when I get the title back, perhaps I should just start from scratch & try it over at eatontown again? what do you think?
Yup, his place is in Huntington Valley, I bought my 2010 Explorer from him. In fact I have a picture of your car on the showroom if it the car I am thinking of.

Feretti Motors is the name of the dealership.

I have no windshield wipers installed but I do have a pair of Model T Hand crank wipers that easily clamp to the top of the windshield that I keep behind the seat. Cost about $20. They sell them at speedway motorshttp://http://www.speedwaymotors.com...pers,2301.html

Wonder if that would work for inspection?

Dont include NY in this list. Superformance registered as a 2008, didnt need an emissions test, no sidepipe shields, no hassle about not having an OBD hookup. Also no race to get an SB100 number.

Do you also have to have a defroster?

Somewhere along the line you did not do this which then got you flagged for the NJ enhanced inspection.........AND, speaking of enhanced inspections, in PA you must have wipers and the side pipe covers to pass the enhanced inspection, so I'm not quite sure how the person you get the car from could have gotten a state issued VIN and title without those items. Was he a dealer, or a private individual?

Bill - I spoke with my local Enhanced Vehicle Inspection station here in Pa. and he didn't seem concerned over the lack of side pipe shields. I am waiting on delivery of my Cobra and spoke with this guy about these items. Is there a way to find out for sure?

I've used three different enhanced inspection station and all three wanted the covers. There are a few sets that literally clamp on and off in moments, think I've lent my set to "KarlCSX2498" for his 427SC inspection, give him a shout and see if he still has them. Use them for the inspection, then remove them. Why take chances with a rejection and re-inspection (remember, they send pictures to Harrisburg who can reject/demand changes)/

Go to another local DMV office and do just a title swap, when they ask you the year........You get the idea.........Oh yeah, take a picture of the VIN tag and bring it along with you, "play dumb", do title only that transaction. See if it goes through, or if they flagged the VIN in the system already........Sometimes in really could be that easy.....Again, if they have not flagged the VIN in the system already.........
