Steering Wheel Location
Redoing my steering column, I was wondering if there is a set distance the originals were from the dash or dash upper lip. What I have now seems a little long. However it feels comfortable, being 6' tall it brings my elbows down and also gives more hand and elbow clearance with my left arm next to the door. Modern racers seem to have the wheel right up in their face probably for less fatigue. Has anyone else noticed how tight the area is for your left extremity?
