16 gauge twisted wire insulation. Get it in 25' coils at auto places or Radio Shack or other electronic supply places. Many colors available, including black, blue, red, white, orange, yellow, etc. Strip off the insulation from a piece of the wire and thread your safety wire through the insulation.
For clear tubing try a hardware or aquarium supply place thin air lines but I've never seen anything as thin as the wire insulation.

I'm going to get some clear tubing from a hardware store or aquarium shop. I see alot of original shelbys with the clear hose around the wire.

Bob,
Is Fed Ex your only shipping option? I tried to order a new hammer but it only listed Fed Ex as a shipper. UPS or USPS are our only options.

You may have to call Bob Lacey on the phone and ask for UPS shipping. Should be no big deal; he has great service!
