I echo the "Thank You" to Nick.
Can't wait to mount them up on the spare set of FIAs and go for a spin. My Halibrands have BFG T/As, so the difference between them and the Billboards should be substantial!

These tires are not DOT rated and haven't been for 40 years.
Nick, my check is on its way via FedEx for delivery tomorrow 12/22/11. Thank you for all your hard work on this.

i needed to supply DOT # when i registered my cobra. i didnt want to make them up and then not be able to register it over a tire#.
i have cooper cobra tires on it now, which seem fine. i would have got the billboards originally i think. but them someone said about the DOT and insurance if there was an accident, so i started looking at avons.
i need to smoke down my cooper's though first :P

Looks like we're at 7 1/2 sets of tires lads. I will call the order in this afternoon and keep you all posted.
One of my customers has it in writing from his insurance company that they will cover him with these tires on his car.
I was told if anyone is looking closely at your tires it is to just check tread depth.

The tires shipped to me today. We should receive them by Wednesday 11th. It will be about a day to wrap them and schedule pickups. You will be copied on the tracking information as soon as they are scanned in at pickup here. That information will go to the e-mail addresses you have given me. I love the smell of rubber!

Hey Jim, the lakes froze last weekend. We have a race this weekend, should I try 3/4" screws in yours or just stick with the 5/8"? I'm tired............you will be shortly. Couple of unpainted fronts and a little count issue to sort but we're going to start shipping, probably tomorrow.

Nick, any old screw will do. And go head and ship down that steel frame sitting to the right of the tires. I'll paypal you the shipping fees.
Thanks for all your hard work.

My new Billboards arrived just in time for my birthday. I want to personally thank Nick and Bonnie Acton of Acton Custom for taking command of this effort and making it happen. Clearly Nick didn't make squat on this transaction but we all saved a little money and at least in my case, my tires are fresh right out of the molds at Good Year. If any of you have a chance or need to do business with Nick, this is the third or fourth transaction I have done with him and he is 1st class all the way. Great communication and he does EXACTLY what he says he is going to do. Nick, I wish you and Bonnie the best for 2012.
Now all you in the peanut gallery who have used Billboards stacked up needing to be sold can start posting again.

Did you know that Billboards are directional?
I'm looking into mounting my new Goodyear Billboards, and in doing some research, I stumbled across information on the proper mounting direction of these tires. I was unaware that they are directional.
I have attached a diagram showing the recommended positions of Billboards on a Cobra.
I hope I caught some of you guys before you get them mounted. Maybe I'm the only one who didn't know.
