Hi Jim, I am set up to take most forms of payment. If anyone wants to Paypal or use a Credit Card thru Paypal I add 3% to cover the funds transfer. What about $20 an order to cover my costs of ordering, receiving, quoting and shipping them? I will check on the lead time of an order this size. If this looks good to everyone so far and we just had two more people for the free shipping it would be great.

Nick, you are great for offering to do this and your offer seems more than reasonable to me. FYI most dealers sell these at full list price so ANY savings is a deal.

Come on guys, we need a couple more sets. Surely some of you 600+HP Kirkham boys need a new set of shoes.

I will check on costing from Oz dealer next week.
But I suspect to be honest that pricing for me will still be cheaper through MickMate, if someone is willing to assist with getting them freighted?
Tire rack quote $100 per tyre, to air freight to Oz.

I am not 100% sure these will fit my car, so I may even ask if anyone who does buy new tyres, can I buy your old ones to test if they fit my car (beter to spend a few hundred on sea freight and burn it if they dont fit, because if they dont fit, there are not too many other people who would want to buy them from me)

Hey guys, I just checked with our distributor to see what shipping would be for 10 sets.
"Here is the freight quote for a forty tire shipment - $5.57 per tire. Please note that the quote expires on 12/20/11."
Good idea to post on the FFR forum, I'll do that.

OK, I'm in for a set provided the only shipping charges are from Nick's place to here (that is, we get free shipping from GY to Nick). I think I make the 13th order, so that should qualify for the free shipping from GY. Now what?

I could be talked into buying six vs the four I previously committed to. I have six wheels, and do plan to race them, so I'll probably need six to rotate them. Anyone else need more than four? We could get to 13 sets this way....

Hey guys, it looks like we only need two more tires for the free shipping if everyone is in. Even as it stands I believe it would make for a good buy on these. I have the addresses being quoted for delivery as I receive them. If you don't hear from me on a shipping quote within a day of getting the info to me remind me again of your details.

If I may make a suggestion: Before you commit here, think it over and be sure you have the $$ and are ready to buy some tires. If we get a group discount you'll still wind up paying less than you will pay buying on your own. We are well on our way to the point of diminishing returns with this effort so if you're in tell Nick you are in. If we can't get to 13 sets or 52 tires by the weekend then I say let's call it dead so those of us who are serious can proceed with buying tires on our own.

I have shaved the dimensions and weights as close as I dare for shipping. I will e-mail you guys new numbers. Most of them are $20 less. I ship Fedex from my shop and they are insured for obvious reasons. I don't set the shipping rates. One of my friends recently shipped tires with UPS and paid a "no box" charge on tires, Fedex does not do that. If you use Paypal or Credit Card to pay it will need 3% on the bill to cover transfer fees. I will see what number we still get the discount at and let you know. It would be great to get the quantity to ship free from the manufacturer.

C'mon, guys. This is a heck of a deal! Between the quantity discount and free shipping from Goodyear, it's like getting 4 tires for the price of 3. We only need two more sets to qualify for FREE SHIPPING from Goodyear. Plus, these will be factory fresh tires, not some that have been collecting dust on a dealer's shelf. Mickmate has volunteered to help with the logistics. We all know what a stand-up guy he is. Don't waste this opportunity. At this low price you'll kick yourself when you decide to buy some later....

Right now with freight the price I am getting from Nick I am saving about $100 if I go through the deal with the free shipping, without the free shipping its about the same freighting from Roger Kraus. RK's inventory is 30 days old.

If the free shipping does not happen, and it does not look likes its going to, I will just stay with RK.
