Default Emails from my dad

I've had my FFR mkII for about a year now. He came with me to pick it up. I rented a Uhaul truck and trailer to pick it up.

I let him borrow it for a few days so he could enter it in a car show in his community event. He liked it, the attention, performance, etc.

Lately he has been sending me links on cobras for sale. I think he has the bug now. It would be really cool for the both of us to have one and go on cruises, etc.

I just hope he doesn't get one that is faster than mine!

My Dad was instrumental in encouraging me to get my first Cobra back in the late 90s. He was always the first to jump into the passenger seat to head down to our monthly local Cobra club meetings and would have grabbed the keys if only he could have fit his size 13 shoes into the cramped driver's footbox.

Next week will be the 1 year anniversary of Dad owning his own Cobra. It's a beautiful car that Dad is constantly improving and updating. Seeing him cruising down the road in a stunning big block Cobra is fantastic, because I know that he has had a thing for them since seeing Ken Miles race CSX3002 live back in 65.

Sharing a hobby and a friendship with your old man is one of the greatest things in life.

Ain't it though !

I was lucky enough to do the same thing with my DAD when he was alive.

Carl:
Hope it comes to pass. Let me know if it comes down to serious considerations and either I or the other CC members can provide advice if you're interested.

So far, the links he has shown me has been for Factory Fives within the 25-30k range. He is familiar with mine so I have been pointing out the differences to him. I've suggested he join some forums (CC and ffcars) to ask questions. He hasn't done that yet. I'll keep nudging him though.
