				 Cobra books
My wife gave me a couple of books for Xmas. I'm sure one has been around for a while but I can't find a copyright date in it. It is entitled "Shelby Cobra Gold Portfolio 1962-1969". It is a collection of magazine articles (e.g., Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Hot Rod) that were written in the 60's in the context of how the Cobra impressed the car mag guys at the time. It's a Brooklands book. This may have been beaten to death previously in this forum but I thought there may be a few out there unfamiliar with it. I like the book because of the different perspective it has. I have enjoyed all of the Cobra books I have read but I find most of them to be a rearrangement of information I already knew. This one is a bit different (at least to me) because the articles were written back in the day.
The other book I recieved is small and is "The Essential Buyer's to Cobra Replicas, 1980 to 2011". It looks interesting but I haven't had a chance to peruse it very well yet.
