Mine are probably turned down more than most. The dust it kicks up while in the desert gets really annoying so I stopped going there. Seriously though, dust is simply not an issue and if you get tweaked when there's dust at your car show, you may want to find another hobby.

Mine are straight out which I am glad they are. I have been next to the turned down dust blowers and it ain't fun and if it were mine I would sure feel bad if I dust stormed someone else car. Go with straight out if possible.

OK, I've found a solution. I relocated my engine bay vents to counteract the "dust storm" that my downward pipes create. Now my neighboring trailer queens will receive some "green" air.

Your car is pretty sparkling clean for a guy who cares less about dust much less for other cars...

My car is ten years old and has 82,000 miles on the clock. That picture was taken two summers ago at about 60,000 miles. I DO care much for other cars but "dust storms" simply don't happen unless you're parked in a place like this and you rev the sh!t out of your ride when you start up. I'd agree, THAT is wrong regardless of what pipes you have. If you're parking in a place like this, then you should expect dust regardless of your neighbors pipe position. I'm sure it's different in the southwest. We simply have less dust here in the northeast so perhaps it's less of an issue.

I'm surprised that people worry that much about dust. Unless you're a jackass who revs their engines in parking lots or at show, I wouldn't imagine people being mad at you for blowing some dust, even less blaming you for how your exhaust is set up/angled.... Too many show queens maybe? I kid

I didn't get it until I'd seen and posted the picture in my above post. Much different in the southwest. I've been caught in the rain plenty off times and soaked to the bone with an inch of water in the footbox. After I pull in the garage, I just laugh my ass off. Now if someone threw a bucket of water on me while I'm driving, there'd be hell to pay. Not much different than the scenario posted here where leaves got blown into a neighbor's car. Now if the leaves came from the tree you were parked under, it would feel much different. Oh the drama.
