This post is to thank all of you that have been complimentary and supportive to my ERA. It's a two-plus decade labor of love,
r & d and improvement to ERA's bottom line.
It was trailered away this afternoon by a very excited and happy buyer and his two 'tech support' guys. Their comment to each other was "It's everything he said it was".
They were mildly shocked to see date-of-change labels on oil filter and brake reservoirs, paint stripes on bolts and the documentation, spare parts and spec data I presented. Anal does as anal is.
Much of the improvements are a result of the tricks I learned from pro and amateur alike here on CC and FE Forum-and thanks to all those I learned from, laughed with and fought with. (youze know who youze is.)
A special note of thanks to Curt Scott at Cobra Country. Curt's hard work and invaluable advice produced the first (and subsequent) buyer in forty-five minutes after the ad went live on his site. Because of arrangements to view the car in a week, the ad remained live for eight days. In that time a total of ten interested parties awaited the refusal of the first so that they might view the car. Today that buyer came with ready money and trailer and we consummated a very good deal for both parties.
Any sellers of cars, I STRONGLY recommend you write a 'no-BS' ad, full of fact with the best quality pics you can supply Curt and he will surely get your car sold.
It's well worth the price.
So thanks to all that cared and I'll still be around to pummel.
If I was grading your term paper, it would be A+. It was the nicest car I ever saw on this site, great job.
Thanks for the great grade!
There's plenty of 'bigger shoes' to fill on this site and my car has a ways to go to fill those. There are many other well-done cars here including yours. Enjoy your Cobra days while you can.

You saved for it, you bought it, you built it, you ripped it apart, you rebuilt it, you cared for it and you even let it pee on your floor. You raced it, you showed it, you cussed it and you loved it. And you were adjusting and polishing on it right up to the minute it was loaded to go. Based on what you have told me I don't think you could ask for much more from car. Sucks to see it go; I only hope my Cobra ownership experience brings me HALF as much enjoyment has that car brought you.
