I've found that liberal amounts of anti-seize has worked to my benefit. I apply it kinda like cake icing! Well, not quite that much, but quite a lot.

Anti-seize will clean off quite easily with mineral spirits and a cloth or paper towel.

Yep. Just put on some latex gloves and smear the stuff on.
