trying to remember the funny story Hal Keck

Harold "Hal" Keck raced a 427 Cobra. Somewhere I read a funny
story to the effect that after a race, they were celebrating and he got a little blasted and was roped into his Cobra that was on an open trailer and driven home that way. Is this story true? Was it a Cobra or some other race car? I'd hate to think what kind of ticket you could get for that, but it's a funny story...

A friend of mine used to be on Hal`s crew back in the 60`s .... I`ll send him an e mail and see if he remembers this . From what I`ve heard from him before , it`s highly possible .
