One body cracks and splinters. The other dents/dings.

Subzero. What a bunch of snobs.

Chinese food. Now there's a healthy alternative for your family.

BTW, whatever happened to PHC1? Did he buy something already? Or did the "fling" with the Cobra end with his purchase of his new 2012 Corvette.

Orange Chicken, Rice, and an Egg Roll please. Yep, it's got the four food groups, tasty, and visually appealing.

And would those four food groups be Sodium, Cholesterol, Fat and Sugars?

No, I view Chinese carry-out as "health food." Here are the four groups that we learned as kids and how my favorite dish complies:

1) meats -- the chicken in the Orange Chicken;

(2) dairy -- the egg in the Egg Roll;

(3) grains -- the rice;

(4) fruits and vegetables -- the orange in the Orange Chicken and the veggies in the Egg Roll.

C'mon, you couldn't ask for anything healthier than that.

If I had a paimted aluminum car it would have been getting fixed more than I could deal with.
what would a Road Gastor do to aluminum? Furry beasts at high speed?
Your cars are safe in the garage where they sit, however LOL

What would it do to fiberglass? Also, remember that the newer aluminum bodies are made from a thicker gauge of aluminum.

Unless it's steamed fish and vegetables, there's ZERO on a Chinese menu that is healthy.

You need to do some research on "lean protein" and "simple vs complex carbs."

While you're at it, go work on your "core."

I asked the old Chinese woman behind the counter if it was healthy and she nodded and said "Shi!" That's good enough for me.

Rod with all due respect I have hit Furry Beasts at high speeds. I have been hit by a Road Gator at 80 mph. NO DAMAGE AT ALL. Your garage queen would be royally messed up.
compound that repair with painting and repainting over and over, as the unpainted look is totally Played Out. The operating cost to actually drive a car would be beyond rediculous.
Keep yours in the garage. It is safe there LOL
I am glad I didnt buy the original car I almost bought at the height of the market.
With the money I would have lost on it I am driving for free with cash in my pocket.

As you know "shi" can mean alot of things in different dialects. It also means "lady" or "Mrs."

She may have been insulting your manhood.

JB, the unpainted look is played out? Well, I love mine. I wouldn't have it any other way.

You must realize I drive my car more than I let on here.

While we have our "furry beasts" here in CA, they are fewer and farther between where I live. At least during the daytime.

I'm still here and no 2012 Corvette in the garage... Just quietly absorbing all the information and wondering if I should ever admit to also owning a SubZero...

Just performing a cursory review of the Cobras now listed on CobraCountry, I think you'll find a large majority of Cobras with thousands of miles on them. Most folks aren't like me and actually drive their cars alot.

In terms of lbs and HP, whenever you commission a reputable engine builder to build an FE in today's environment, most engine builders can build a reasonably docile and well-running FE with 550-600 HP without any difficulty. My Kirkham weighs 2,128 and had a dyno'ed 605 HP and I think of it as somewhere in the vast middle of engine builds in terms of HP.

So, Evan, I need more than 400-500 HP.

in today's environment, and that means exactly what?
reasonably docile = 605 HP? = vast middle of engine builds??
My Kirkham weighs 2,128 (and with a BB FE in it no less) lol

Where are my boots, we're ankle deep in horsechit here

I have 24k on my car. It's seen a lot of road. I need a new windshield it's been sandblasted so much it's hard to see out when the sun hits at certain angles.

I've had the body repolished once, after abou three years. That was a LOT cheeper than a new paint job.

Like I said.. Till you own one you'll never know...

Oye vey. I can't speak any more clearly, factually, and/or definitively than that.

PHC1, they do offer self-help groups for SubZero owners. Evan leads it every Tuesday at 7:30 PM at the local Appliance Super Store.
