Default Any Highway 101 cruisers?

Well school is finished so I have a break and was wondering if there are any cobra groups coming my way this summer. I live in Eureka Ca on highway 101 and it is a beautiful drive from her up the coast although a little chilly at times. Just curious, Last year I saw a group up on the Oregon coast. I wouldn't mind taking the wifey on a little trip.

I did it 2 years ago and it was wonderful except for the weather. Mid 50's and fog every day all the way from Carmel to Brookings. Finally had my fill of the cold and headed over to I5 for the rest of the way home. Ten miles from the coast and it was in the mid 70's and clear. Got to Grants Pass and it was in the 90's.

Lived in Monterey/Carmel for almost 10 years. What you don't tell the tourists is that the best weather for the central and northern CA coast is late April to early June and late September to mid November. During "high summer" the central valley heat sky rockets up and the rising air sucks the fog into the coast.
In mid summer I could go to the Thunderbird Bookstore a mile down Carmel Valley, sit in the sun and have breakfast and look 1/4 mile down the road towards the coast and see the fog bank just sitting there.
The Oregon coast is very similar but not quite as severe. Our temps up here can be a little less radical in their swings. Always have a jacket in the car when I'm going to the coast even when it's forecast to be nice.
