Looking for A9L Dyno tuner in Bay Area, Ca
I need to find a good dyno tuner in the bay area of California. Running a Mass Flo EFI with the Ford A9L and Moates chip from Mass Flo.
As an FIY, don't ever pull that chip out with the battery connected....even with the ignition off. It's powered full time and if you get real lucky, you can blow it very quickly. Chased a host of intermittent problems until I pulled the chip out and the thing fired right up on the A9L computer and runs perfect. Put it back in and all the gremlins reappear instantly.
Lot's of mods on the motor since it was tuned last time anyway, so time to have a good tuner go back through it, if for no other reason than to get rid of the codes being set by lack of emission equipment.
Any good experience with someone who really knows what they are doing?
