According to Shell Valley the shape of the windshield changed in 1992. The one they sell today may not fit on early West Coast Cobra, or especially the even older Kellison Stallion, Texas Stallion, Red Stallion, or Eagle American. My guess is these used "original style" Shelby Cobra windshields since the replica market was just getting started.

Well for what is worth my car is circa 1984 and a few months ago I had the winshield changed due to a pebble crack. Got the windshield from Vern and had it installed by the glass company my insurance uses and it fit perfectly. I did changed the bottom of frame weather seal as well.

well hi where have you been?

i was wondering about the older ones too, i notice the frames are slightly different, scallops in the top corners, and the royal dalton glass number in the manual i just cannot cross to anything. with that being said my car must have had the glass and frame changed along the way since '79, because i have the same viracon glass several manufacturers have on their cars and my frame is like most newer cobras. a friend of mine has a 1980 and he has a base to his frame at the body and scallops, have yet to get numbers off his glass.

Hi Guys -

Just an FYI but this windshield on EBay looks identical to what is in my windshield box from Vern (aka Shell Valley) ;-)

Default West Coast Cobra Parts

Hello,
I'm working on a WCC the master cylinders all are frozen. Where do I get parts or this car? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Sean

There's no list of parts that would apply to all WCCs. You could have Tilton or Wilwood, or you could have Ford. You'll have to identify what you have, get part numbers if possible then source replacements.
