Hi all. Just returned from Laguna Seca. Spectacular turnout of cars and great people. Talked with so many and saw cars dsplaying fantastic Shelby Cobra historical significance and for those that assembled their cars, great craftsmanship.

End to end Cobras around the track for the parade lap. WOW.

Wanted to ask so many questions but couldn't always catch the owners by their cars. So lot's of questions to be posted if I can't reach them.

What a GRRRRRRRRRRREAT weekend.

Can't wait for the DVD. (does anyone know if there will be one?)

Cheers
Greg

Thanks for pictures, very cool!

Any news on the damage of the 2286 coupe? Looks like mostly front sheet metals from the few pics I have seen. Glad to see that this car is still getting pushed hard like it was built for!

My buddy and I happened to be standing in the pit area when they brought the Daytona Coupe back. You'd think that that they just captured an alien and were transporting it back to Area 51.

They quickly changed car covers and my friend said it looked like the front fender was pushed back to the back of the wheel well. We left while the crew was talking about how to get the car on the flatbed.

It was awesome to see the car pushing so hard out on the track. I'm sure they'll repair it better than new.

What a great weekend!

The "Hit man" sliding up the pit row in 3047.

Sweet little weberised 9.

One of Lynns track rats at the front of Cobra row, I hear he likes the patina and even the color.

Number zero still running like it should, poor Gary what a tough job.

Discussion on the numbering led us to number 0 and 1, together in order.

I'm told by a restoration authority these are the real deal as the A stays inside the circle.

Default Amazing photos over on Autoblog

Brent, there are some very amazing photos over on Autoblog of Cobras on the track at Laguna. Hoping you were able to make it up to the corkscrew and snap a few. Check these out. Just a few links to a few from over at AUTOBLOG - 2012 Monterey Motorsports Reunion Photo Gallery - Autoblog

A-Snake, I clicked on your reply here with the link in your reply and it works for me. Strange. Just search for the text above on the autoblog site if this link still does not work for you.

Interesting...this is what I see with the link

While the text reads 2012 Monterey Motorsports Reunion Photos, there is no link etc to view photos.

Brent,
Snapped this one while we were there in the Corral at Italiano on Friday. I thought your car looked pretty cool from this angle with the sign in the background. This photo looks more amazing blown up in high resolution. D

And this one of Brent and Ron's 40s from the back.
