You need to get behind the wheel -- driving them is a whole lot more fun than just riding in them. There's no comparison, really.

Nothing quite like a BB. All the SB guys have BB envy, but they'll never tell you that.....

Yeah, we had just discussed the side pipe burns too. I was just excited to get in the drivers side to "check the feel out" and forgot that the pipes were hot...Ive had worse.

Well, just a follow up on this thread...picked up my car about four weeks ago. I bought ERA #758 from a former Indy Lights driver (Bob Reid) who is going back racing this year in a different series. He really did a lot of research before outfitting this car. It was his second Cobra build, so he knew what to avoid from the last build.
Awesome car! Pond aluminum block 482FE built by KC. Has many nice features and upgrades.I had to pony up a bit more than my set budget, but I have no regrets at all.
Thanks for all the input.

Now just take 1.5" out of the ride height.

My two cents! I have several friends with SB Cobra's, these cars haul a**, have lighter front ends, but sound like Mustang's with a cam.
On the other hand the big block FE shakes the ground, sets off car alarms and makes everyone look when you arrive. The BB has unbelievable torque and will pull any gear with ease...so what's not to like.
Their all good, fast and fun..so go with what you like and don't worry about what people say about double roll bars and that stupid kind of stuff, unless you hate your wife.

Nothing makes me happier than when someone gets the car of their dreams. But you know as well as I that for every "I'm going to get a Cobra" post, and then do, there are a hundred or more that die by the side of the road....
