Default Track pics from Monterey Motorsports Reunion - Nut'n but Cobras!

Well, vacation time prevented me from getting through all of the pics until now....very sorry for the delay, but hope you enjoy.

Parade laps are not included in this set and hope to get them out for everyone tomorrow.

Here's a few below and the rest are here: Monterey 2012 - Club Cobra Photo Gallery

Ok...geez...we're talking coffee table book here. Heck, you've already worked out the title (same as the thread). I am not kidding.

Good seeing you my friend. The cart was smart. Bringing the wifey to pull it around for you...genius!

Brent, great pics man! Thanks for posting them. I agree with Jamo as well. If all of those originals are high quality then a book is definitely in order. Heck, I'd buy one!

I should have paid closer attention last night...when I exported the pics they were at 60% quality. These are not close to original shots. I'll post some better stuff tonight.

Brent,

At the risk of sounding ignorant. Can you or someone explain the extra flair at the back of the front wheel well on the #10 and the #16 cars.

Those were spats that were use on the FIA cars that were raced in Europe to prevent stones from being kicked up.

Did anyone get a look at the Exhaust on the #81??? There was someting different, as it really had an "F1" like shriek. I am thinking rerouted pipe grouping ALA GT40.

Rick ... #81 did sound a lot different than the rest of the Cobras, let's see if anyone knows what motor setup they were running.

Brent ... Great photos!! Thanks for sharing, let us know if you make a book

Copied these over from the Monterey update thread since this is the "Track Pictures" thread.

Brent, there are some very amazing photos over on Autoblog of Cobras on the track at Laguna. Hoping you were able to make it up to the corkscrew and snap a few. Check these out. Just a few links to a few from over at AUTOBLOG - 2012 Monterey Motorsports Reunion Photo Gallery - Autoblog

A true group of "Gamblers" getting ready to play, while "Hedging their Bets". While at the same time staying involved in an "Investment Group"
