Guys, I appreciate your concern and understanding...as well as your curiosity about the back story....
...but I am not going to sustain this part of the conversation with explanations and I ask you all to leave it at that.
Please keep all future posts about the specific original topic.
Thanks

Better? How so? Could you please enlighten us?

Hey I am a Chevy guy everything is better in orange. Gm had a better small block, just think of the Cobra with a 327 fuel injected instead of the 289? And for big blocks the GM mark V was and is better than the Ford in every way. I have a replica, a kit car as most on this site, it is not a genuine Cobra and never will be(no matter if I use a Ford motor or match the correct number of rivets or match the same wiper motor or the factory horns) I have no illusions! And I could not care less if it is like the factory did it,let me say that again I could not care less how it was done from the factory!! I have a HotRod that is shaped like a Cobra. And I am a Chevy guy so Long live the Bow tie!!

I will tell you what I am thinking next , is a all aluminum Chevy small block stroked to 427 C.I with TBI and a 5 speed OD!! How is that going to play on the originality forum?

And we're talking about Chevy engines on a CC thread about CSX3045, an original Cobra, but why?
So that when someone does an Internet search about CSX3045, a discussion of Chevy engines and an original Cobra can be seen worldwide?
Please take the Chevy engine discussion to a different forum here on CC.
