puke tank/aviaid pan
Anyone know the correct plumbing for the Aviaid pan with the one large and one small hose nipples on the passenger side of the pan and the original puke tank with the small (3/8") tube on the bottom, which I'm assuming is the oil drain-back which would go to the 3/8" nipple on the pan, but that pan fitting is being used for the dipstick ! The dipstick hole in the remote oil adapter is plugged.
TIA
Ted

Right side has two 3/4" tubes. The bottom one connects to the oil pan for condensed oil. I have made little clips for this hose to keep it off the headers. The top one is a draft tube.
Left side has two tubes as well. The 3/8" connects to the trans, the 3/4" connects to the breather plate at the back of the intake manifold.

Thanks Nick. I agree with the nipple functions as you described, however my puke tank has a FIFTH nipple, 3/8' tube on the bottom of the tank, the end of which is closed over with a small (1/8"?) hole in the end. I figured this was the oil drain-back to the pan, and would be connected to the 3/8" nipple on the pan. ??????

That is the old fuel nipple location from its prior duties. That just gets a plug.

Thanks again Nick, mystery solved ! By "fuel nipple" I assume that a line was run to the top side of the mechanical pump in case the diaphram failed ?

It was a gas tank off a horizontal shaft industrial engine before it was repurposed as an oil catch tank by the old hot rodders.
