I am changing the steering wheel on my Shelby CSX4000 Cobra. Can anyone tell me where to get a socket to loosen the central nut on the hub. I measure it at 1 1/2 inches and it it recessed into wheel where the I.D. of the hole is 1 3/4 inches. The Craftsman 1 1/2 inch 12 point thin wall socket I have is too large in diameter to fit inside the hub.

How deep do my pockets need to be for a removable steering wheel for a Backdraft?

Car is number 874. I like everything I have but I have been in a burning wheelchair lift van and I was the one in the wheelchair. Fire was from transplanted 429 SCJ into 1976 E-150. Fuel leak near carb.

The steering wheel is a beautiful wooden rim with BDR center cap. Safety precautions don't cost; they pay. I had a faulty fuel hose on BDR discovered at oil change. Happy resolution!
