I don't get it. If I remember correctly, you were previously complaining about SAI taking so long to deliver 50th anniversary models. You at least implied you had customers waiting. So why would you take one to auction when the CSX continuation cars almost always sell for less than you could get if you sold directly to a customer?
This is not my 50th anniversary car - My 50th anniversary car(s) are still not here and my customers are still waiting - I looked up this cars VIN # and it was ordered and sold thru Gregory Motorsports in CA / I do not know if this is a customers car or if it is Gregory Motorsports just selling the car at auction / I have nothing to do with this car or it being sold at NO RESERVE at auction this week
At no reserve, possibly a good opportunity to pick up a genuine Shelby. I'd also be interested in the outcome of this auction. The black slabside with the wire wheels is quite a beauty.

The 6000 car hammered for $106000. Subtract the 8% seller fee and you netted barely enough to cover the roller. So I'll ask again, why would you take a continuation car to auction?

Perhaps he doesn't pay rrp for his rollers... etc, etc

Market really weak? Had to get rid of the cars at all costs? Survivability? Pretty weak price... Someone bought a pretty good deal. Specially when the real deal sold for 2M on RM Auction...

A beautiful car, precisely assembled. Unfortunately I don't fit. Sold it after four hundred miles. Well, at least now I know a Cobra is not a car I can own.

Interesting that 6166 looks like it has one of my 9" low profile air filter bases on it. It is only available from me or Mickmate and I don't recall selling one for that car......
