Default CSX Fan Thermostatic Sensor Question?

Hello:

Does anyone know the correct fan thermostatic sensor (part #) for CSX that mounts under in the expansion tank or intake manifold which controls the electric fans on and off?

Also on my CSX wiring I see only one red wire is the correct connector on the passenger side and are there single connector sensors?

Thanks,

I don't know the part number, but I will tell you that, when dealing with coolant temperture sensors, you will, for the most part, have two basic input choices and two basic output choices. The "input" choices will be two wire or one wire. Both are using the ground circuit, and the two wire will work where a one-wire was previously used, but not vice versa. The only difference in the input is that the two wire will have the luxury of a separate ground feed. This is needed if the mounting location is not itself grounded (like a steel tube in the middle of two radiator hoses). If you're mounting your sensor in the intake manifold, your single wire sensor would take the ground feed from its mounting. Your "output" choices are either continous variable, like for a temperature gauge, or "binary," to feed a fan relay. The latter is either "on" or "off" and you can buy different temperature thresholds for when it goes from one to the other. Hope that helps. And here's a quick link to the Jegs fan accessory page that has some sensors to peruse: Derale Electric Fan Accessories - JEGS

Are you putting it in the manifold or expansion tank? I have a pink wire coming off the alternator wire branch on the pass side and prefer the expansion tank.
