Finding Jims Cobra

I had a Gentleman come by my shop this morning. A Mr Jim Copland. He had photos of a 289 cobra in green. He said the vin was CXX 2113 he had the car from 1966 to 1993 when it was soled to a William DeBroekert in France There was an issue with the import taxis. He lost track of the car. He would like to know what happened to it from there. Can any one help?
