Rebatt Battery mock up
Guys: I am putting two 12V Interstate Gels side by side in place of my twin 12V Optima Red tops.
Have any of you done "mock" Rebatts or do you have pics of original Rebatts? If so can you post pics?
I hesitate to use epoxy to fasten caps to the top of the battery. Any suggestions?

Batteries
I have ONE repo Rebat, never been used, never any water in it. Bought it to use, received it, via ebay seller, who then ripped me off for the second one.
Due to health issues, I'll never get around to using it.

Thanks but I have the decals and battery's all set up.
Will try Butyl tape for the caps.
Thanks.

Here are my "Rebats" that I made up:
The tops are made from Fanta fizzy drink bottle tops:
...and here's the label I made up in MS Publisher. It isn't perfect, but it's close enough for me. I simply printed it onto a vinyl Avery label:

Evan,
These may not be at all what you want but one of the guys on our site did this and uses them as a small storage box. He painted them black and after they were finished he even had short wires running from them so they looked as if they were real and working. If you are interested in seeing the finished look let me know and I will get it for you. He also took out the dividers inside the boxes and hinged the tops so he could open them easy. So far everyone who has seen them think they are real.

Thanks
