Possible solution to Coyote idle exhaust issue?
Like some out there, I love the idea of having the modern 5.0 Coyote motor in my Cobra. Aside from the debate over the fact that it doesn't look right under the hood (not authentic, etc), the big issue (at least for me) is that it doesn't have that great lopey sound at idle, which really makes a Cobra sound so unique. But check out this Youtube clip featuring a 2013 Boss 302 'stang, comparing standard idle versus when the "track key" feature is activated. WOW! Huge difference...and remember, its going through the Mustang's stock cats/exhaust system. Gotta believe that it would sound so much more of what we like when going through our side pipes.
Scouring this forum, I only see discussion and builds using the regular Coyote. Anyone install the Boss 302 version and activate the track key feature? Unless I'm missing something here, I'm thinking of going this route.
