Default Superformance turn signals

My SPF 1698 turn signals stopped working today , anyone else had this issue ?

I have checked the usaul suspects , bulbs , fuses are OK

I did have the steering wheel swapped for a leather wrapped one but they were working Ok for the last couple of years with that mod

Any thoughts on what it could be

Thanks

I have spf 1721 and the problem I had with mine was a broken wire at the turn signal switch. Fortunately it was a fairly easy repair.

I agree, try flasher first. Pry it open if need be. File,(sand) the contacts. It's worked for me many times in the past. Nothing lost but time if this doesn't fix it.

And if it does, well as I'm finding out, money is going to be needed spent else where on car.

The plastic cover on the flasher units has a tendency to get crushed in the spring clip that secures it to the drop-down fuse panel. Just replace the flasher unit. It’s about $7.00.
