Sorry to hear you're stuck.
Fuel Safe can be reached at 800-433-6524.
I posted on this subject before, as I just went through having a bad cell. Fuel Safe will tell you that they are only good for 4-5 years. I was quoted $4,700 for a replacement for my 42-gal tank plus shipping. 
I went a different route with Nick's (Mickmate) help. Not that it helps you in your current tough spot, but if you can limp it home, something to think about.

Wow that sucks!! I feel your pain, albeit I was many hours closer to home! I had the filler neck tear completely off. FUELSAFE was no help.

it may be just me but why not have a custom SS tank welded up that will outlast the car unless you wreck it, for alot less that the bladder tank.
it could be made to look exactly like what you show there

"that will outlast the car unless you wreck it" EXACTLY. My car got hit from the back a few years ago by a lady with an SUV and a cell phone. The tank was full and the battery was hanging out where the trunk used to be. The only thing that prevented that car from blowing up and probably burning lots of people was the bladder tank.

I appreciate all the responses. Well, I made it home from Arizona (back to CO) thanks to JB Weld and fuel tape. The bladder completely came apart at the fill nipple that sticks out at the top of the tank (same as D-Cells post pic). The plan I came up with was to keep the fuel level well below the nipple level the rest of the way home. 15 fuel stops later (no joke) we made it back safely. FYI Fuel Safe had no replacement in stock and didn't know what size the bladder was or have a part number to reference. They said I would need to take the tank out and ship it to them so they could custom make a new bladder. They were VERY friendly and actually brainstormed with me (JB Weld) to help me get on my way. The bladder was 9 years old. This has been a learning experience as I had just purchased the car and was driving it home as my first Cobra ownership experience. The car is awesome and so was the 1100 mile trip home.

Glad to hear you limped home ok. Fuel Safe will want a number off the bladder similar to the attached pic so they can determine if they have the pattern to make one. Get your wallet out

and again in another 4-5 years. Ask them about their recommended bladder life span.That one did well at 9years and so did you for a first drive. Nothing like a good road trip Cobra adventure. |

My guess is that most people aren't going voluntarily shell out $4,700 for preventative maintenance (most will just wait for it for the cell to fail). I can see the safety aspect, but it's an expensive insurance policy.

They told me 4 years is about what to expect, and that 5 years is pushing it. Just budget accordingly....

FYI, Fuel Safe quoted $1,400 +R&R + S&H. They will make a custom unit once they receive the tank.

Much better than my quote from them. How big is your tank? Also, are you able to ship the tank with a fuel-soaked bladder in it? Or, did they tell you to pull the bladder and just send the tank? Just curious.

Here is my 42 gal bladder before and after removal, which was most difficult and ended up requiring me to cut it in half to get it out. Yours looks much more straight-forward.

I do need to add another piece of information I learned during my bought of Fuelsafe incontinence. Aside from the cost (I can’t help but feel gouged, when the offer other replacement bladders at 1/3 the cost, but I digress.) Fuelsafe uses polyurethane for the bladders, which is not repairable. Any puncture or tear requires replacement.
In talking with the guys at Aerotech, typical reinforced rubber aircraft bladders are repairable when damaged.
One more thing to think about before you write the check to Fuelsafe!

My tank is 17 gal. Didn't get that far with them yet as to how to ship it. I would assume with no bladder?

When I shipped mine to Nick (Mickmate), as you can see I removed the bladder, then took the tank to the local carwash and gave it a good bath inside and out.
Then I used a packing / shipping company to carefully package it ($120) and ship it from SoCal to Nick in NH. Shipping ran about $230 each way, so that added another $460.
After all that and paying Nick for his fine work, I still came out ahead based on what I was facing going the Fuel Safe route.  (your results may vary)
