The statement that it is was part of Carroll Shelby's personal collection probably has something to do with the price.

Kudos to the seller, great car regardless however probably closing in on a wire wheel 2XXX car value which would be money better spent.
Pretty sure this is not a sign that KMS/CSX cars will be sailing north of $300k

At least two people wanted this car, one just a little more than the others. It is a goofy price no one can deny it is a beautiful car.

First thing I'd do is get it painted.
