This is an interesting photo... notice that no mounting screws are visible for the trunk handle. First time I see one that way. Anyone know if this is typical, or was it replaced, or... ?

I'm not sure if that's an original trunk lock or not. It would have to have studs instead of screws but it would keep one from gaining access to the trunk W/O keys.

As for the GT40, I have no idea what car it is though its color appears to be the same as CS2131 from 1963. Is that a clue?

And what is the CSX of the red Cobra behind CSX2142?

Wouldn't it be CSX3187...? Both cars were offered at RM Auctions Amelia Island in Mar 2009.

Here's another easy one. This photo was used in an article on this Cobra or used in an auction sale. This is an original photo. Another easy one.

You mean the guys from some TV show about cars? I wouldn't know, I cut back on the number of channels I get, so I don't get "Speed" anymore.

Where are these color combo's coming from? Is that red white and blue a historic paint job? I can't believe some of these colors that I have been seeing, Orange...!

Who would put shelby daytona coupe on their winshield like that! Must be a copy.

The coupe is definitely a copy.

As for CSX2011, the picture boards next to it show that there were several historic paint schemes to choose from. Perhaps the red, white and blue scheme was from a really significant race?

This is 1987 before CSX2011 was restored.
Now guess the CSX of the red 289 with the A-Snake front plate.
