Default 1993 Autokraft cobra

Hi , I have a 1993 Autokraft cobra that is missing the metal dust cap that covers the front hub nut and split pin. Can anyone tell me where I can obtain these from or which manufacturer produced the front hubs . many thanks

I bought it a few month ago and don't know much about it. It has has one I.D, tag on frame and one in normal spot is that normal? Is it a early production if so how early, Im been told the 1017 means nothing in production order.

1017 should be black with tan interior if I recall correctly. Built with a 302 HO that was installed at Roush and was the first "official" MK IV imported under the Ford endorsed program.

Correct, chassis number does not indicate build sequence but is broadly close to order.

IP has been modified....no heater controls. Series 1 had slide lever controls, series 2 had round Mercedes sourced controls.

It doesn't look like it has ever messed with the car has 8000 miles . could there be any other reason the dash is different? Are you sure 1017 was Black and Tan the car is in perfect shape but aged as it should be for the year. It doesn't look like it has ever been painted or interior replaced.

No, as Rick (the guy who was a dealer who sold it new) has already stated, the car you have is modified and was not originally sold the way it currently sits.

Info would all be in the SAAC registry, correct?

OP, neat car, wish I had it. Your search starts here with Mark IV and should include the registry as well.

Welcome to the Cobra madness man!

AK 1017 Interesting.......
